About the Fall Bazaar
The desire to reach out to others fostered the idea of annual bazaar in which the ladies would prepare food, baked goods, crafts, needle crafts, etc. to raise money to meet church needs and outreach to our community. Beginning in September, the ladies meet on Mondays at the craft house to make various items for the bazaar. It is a wonderful time of fellowship and all are invited to participate even those who have "no talent"!
The Bazaar is held the week-end prior to Thanksgiving. Along with craft items, a breakfast of biscuits - plain, cheese or sausage - are served prior to the delicious lunch of soups and sandwiches.
The Bazaar also includes a yard sale which has many used items. The Bazaar has grown so much over the 60 years that even the men of the church have jumped in to help.
